OUR MISSION

 TELL EVERY PRISONER

 ABOUT

 THE KINGDOM OF GOD

THE PROBLEM

Men and women around the world are stuck in hopeless situations behind bars. They deal with issues like depression, anxiety, addiction, fear, and loneliness, just to name a few. Once the system releases them, they deal with stigmas, broken homes, homelessness, poverty, and many other tough issues.

Sometimes, a cycle of recidivism develops where an individual ends up back behind bars repeatedly. Breaking free from the dark times can seem impossible. Help is often hard to find, and resources can be scarce.

THE SOLUTION

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and life." We believe a relationship with Jesus Christ is necessary for an individual to finally find relief in their situation. We also believe that there is no better time than now to get to know Jesus, the Savior of the World.

No burden is too heavy for Him. No person is too far gone. No situation is too complicated. He created all things, knows all things, and sees all things.

By helping to bring Jesus to those in need behind bars, we believe that, through God's faithfulness, all prisoners will have a chance to turn their lives around, find a new hope, and make a new way.

OUR BELIEFS
We all fall short of God's glory

 THE LORD

 GIVES FREEDOM

 TO THE PRISONERS

Jesus has called us to proclaim His name everywhere, even in prison. Proclaiming His name means telling those behind bars that their sins are forgiven through the redeeming death of Jesus. All who believe in His name will find new life, free from the power of death. That's right. Jesus' death and resurrection guarantees eternal life for His followers. So, while their walk on this earth may make them weary and faint, Jesus has secured for them everlasting life in heaven. All of their worldy pain, sorrow, and troubles will be left behind as they spend eternity with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Beyond that, Jesus has called us to heal the sick prisoners, and, when possible, to meet any other exigent needs a prisoner may have.

The LORD assumes full responsibility for this work. He is the one who opens doors, saves His people, heals broken hearts, and makes all things new. We are blessed to have been given a part in His works of redemption.

WHY
HOW

PROVIDE CHRISTIAN COUNSELING

PROVIDE CHRISTIAN HEALING

Prisoners are no different from us. We all share the same spiritual needs.

Our plan is to develop Truth Ministries along two main lines of effort. The ministry will be focused on meeting prisoner's needs for counseling and healing.

In the beginning, we will concentrate on providing counseling. To us, counseling means relying on the Holy Spirit within us to visit with, listen to, and share with prisoners. We have been called to share God's love with prisoners as if we were the ones behind bars. Each prisoner is unique, and we will trust God to show us how to connect with them individually.

Next, when the time is right, we will expand our ministry to include healing. To us, healing means calling on the name of Jesus to bring God's healing power to the afflicted. Christian medical professionals will work with prisoners to end their struggles with sickness, pain, disability, and addiction.

In the end, our goal is to ensure that every prisoner we connect with knows that Jesus loves them and will care for them.
